This guitar is in Mint Condition/looks new; even has the plastic still on the pickguard! This is an NOS(New Old Stock) ES-335 Dot(1959 Reissue) in Cherry Red with Nickel Hardware. This 335 was used as a reference color guitar over the years, and has never left the Memphis factory since 2010 until now. This was the only year for the Les Paul SG Standard Authentic model, and this may be the only Left Handed guitar from this special run. This is a brand new guitar, special ordered through the Gibson Made-To-Measure program. With an estimated 40 to 50 left-handed instruments built up to the late 1970's, the Duo-Jet 6128 is an extremely rare model in factory left-handed, and even more rare when considering it is a lefty Golden Era 1954-1960 single-cut Duo-Jet! This 335 was used as a reference color guitar over the years, and has never left the Memphis factory since 2008 until now.

The guitar is brand new with COA, Warranty Card, and OHSC.

This is one of 2 or maybe 3 left handed 1954 Reissue Strats from the Fender Custom Shop’s Masterbuilt Department. All of the details on this guitar can be found in this NOV 2004 Vintage Guitar Magazine article: This impressive guitar incorporates modern enhancements like an ABR-1 bridge with titanium saddles, and a hand-wired MTC control assembly paired to our MHS P-90 pickups with hum-canceling capabilities.

As a lefty the chances are pretty good that you’ve not had the opportunity to give a Charlie Christian pickup equipped Telecaster a workout before, so there’s a good chance you don’t know what you’re missing out on.

This had to have been a special order guitar – has “Blond” written in the neck pickup cavity(see pic).

I think I’ve seen one other factory left-handed Blonde Strat, but certainly not from the Hendrix era(both the white Woodstock and black Band of Gypsies Strats were from 1968).

No fret wear; just has one minor scratch on the back.
